Area Sales Manager - Auxiliary Equipment
The Area Sales Manager - Auxiliary Equipment is responsible for channel distribution, meeting sales objectives, coordinating customer interaction and customer development for the assigned brand channel in a specific territory. Territory assignment is Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. The position requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in order to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales plans for assigned area to meet and exceed sales targets
Identify and contact potential customers to promote the sale of auxiliary equipment
Connect with current and prospective customers to build relationships and identify opportunities
Negotiate terms with customers and close deals to maximize customer satisfaction and sales
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Analyze customer feedback and prioritize customer needs.
Present auxiliary equipment and services to customers and attend trade shows
Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales activities and performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering, or Business Administration
3+ years of application engineering or industrial sales experience
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop successful sales strategies
Good knowledge of the auxiliary equipment industry, current trends, and customer preferences
Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
