Location: Camarillo (remote)
Salary: $140,000- $170,000 DOE Bonus: 115/hr past 1575 billable hours AND Annual performance bonus
Billable Hours: 1600

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated employment defense attorney to join our legal team. As an employment defense attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to employers facing employment-related claims and disputes. This includes but is not limited to defending against wrongful termination lawsuits, discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related matters.
- Provide legal advice and representation to employers facing employment-related claims and disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare legal defenses for employment litigation cases.
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and state labor departments.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with internal investigations of employee complaints and allegations of misconduct.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California state bar/
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on PAGA defense litigation.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
