Established (40+ Years) AM Law 200 Full-Service Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Wage and Hour Litigation - Marin/Sausalito, CA and Orange County
An established AM Law 200 firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least four years of experience to join its team in Marin/Sausalito, Irvine, Cerritos, Pasadena, or Riverside. This role is focused on the defense of wage and hour litigation, with a strong emphasis on class actions. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in written discovery, depositions, and opposing class certification motions, and can operate with limited supervision.

Competitive compensation package ($100k-$150k+, depending on experience)

Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience handling wage and hour litigation defense, preferably including class actions
In-depth knowledge of California and federal wage and hour laws, including overtime and meal/rest period requirements
Experience preparing/responding to written discovery with minimal oversight
Deposition and motion practice experience, particularly on discovery issues
Proven ability to design and execute discovery strategies
Strong legal writing skills, especially in opposing class certification
Professional client-facing communication skills, with the ability to convey legal and strategic insights
California Bar in good standing
Juris Doctorate
Responsibilities:
Managing wage and hour class and representative actions, including case strategy and discovery planning
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery-related motions
Taking and defending depositions and handling motion practice
Interfacing directly with clients to provide strategic counsel and litigation updates
Working with internal teams to ensure thorough case preparation and execution
