Real Estate Attorney - Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal representation for our clients in various matters related to Affordable Housing, Tax Credit, Low Income Housing, Transactional, Litigation, Real Estate, Nonprofit Law, and Fair Housing. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and expertise on all areas of Affordable Housing, Tax Credit, Low Income Housing, Transactional, Litigation, Real Estate, Nonprofit Law, and Fair Housing
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements
Participate in negotiations and litigation proceedings
Monitor new and existing laws, regulations, and legislation related to Affordable Housing, Tax Credit, Low Income Housing, Transactional, Litigation, Real Estate, Nonprofit Law, and Fair Housing
Maintain professional relationships with clients and third-party representatives
Respond to inquiries and provide timely legal advice to internal staff
Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as necessary
Qualifications:
J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
At least 5 years of experience as an Attorney
Knowledge of Affordable Housing, Tax Credit, Low Income Housing, Transactional, Litigation, Real Estate, Nonprofit Law, and Fair Housing
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Active Bar Membership in good standing
