We seek an experienced Audit Manager to join our team and oversee our financial audit process. The Audit Manager will be responsible for leading audits for a wide variety of clients and industries. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of auditing principles, a deep understanding of construction accounting, and excellent project management skills.
Position Overview:
The Audit Manager will lead a team of staff and senior auditors to complete financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The Audit Manager will play a key role in the development and delivery of comprehensive audit plans and strategies, while also overseeing the timely execution of all audit engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial audit process and ensure compliance with GAAP, PCAOB, and CPA standards.
Develop audit procedures and strategies for a wide variety of clients.
Supervise a team of auditors and ensure the timely completion of audit engagements.
Analyze and interpret financial data for accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
Prepare accurate audit reports and present findings to clients.
Monitor performance of staff and senior auditors.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field.
5+ years of auditing experience, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, real estate, employee benefit plans industry.
CPA certification required.
Strong knowledge of auditing principles and PCAOB standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
