Position Overview:
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for examining organizational financial records, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. You will work closely with clients to identify and mitigate any potential risks, provide recommendations for improvement, and verify the accuracy of financial statements. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulations- Analyze and evaluate financial data to identify any discrepancies or potential risks- Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and strategies- Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk management- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and standards- Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and effective auditing processes- Support the development of audit reports and presentations to senior management
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, preferably in CPA or Assurance roles- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, procedures, and standards- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant auditing software- Attention to detail and ability to work independently- CPA certification preferred- Experience with auditing non-profit organizations, government entities, employee benefits plans, or other specialized areas is a plus- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
