The ideal candidate should possess carpentry and plumbing skills, as well as nice-to-have skills such as blueprint reading, building codes, material selection, layout, assembly, welding, waterproofing, project management, customer service, cooperation, structural fabrication, cutting, managing customer focus, teamwork, communications, oral communication, written communication, cost consciousness, diversity, organizational support, adaptability, achievement focus, attendance/punctuality, dependability, quality, ethics, safety and security, and quantity.
Position Overview: The Carpenter will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This may include tasks such as constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames, installing kitchen cabinets, hanging drywall, and laying hardwood floors.
