Position Overview: The Civil Engineering PM Land Development will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple land development projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong team management skills, project management experience, and the ability to build strong client relationships. They will also have a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and experience in land development and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope of work- Conduct site investigations and analyze data to determine project feasibility
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and invoices for clients
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success- Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members- Monitor and track project budgets to ensure profitability
- Prepare and review plans and specifications for land development projects- Manage back charges and address any project issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE license preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in project management in the land development field- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Experience in project budgeting and tracking
- Ability to prepare proposals and cost estimates
- Knowledge of site investigation techniques and analysis
- Proficient in plan preparation and review
- Familiarity with wastewater and water management projects
- Business development and client management experience preferred- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
