Position Overview
The GC Estimator & Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. This position is responsible for analyzing blueprints, determining material and labor costs, and managing the scheduling and budgeting of projects. They will also be responsible for controlling project costs, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and working with the project team to ensure the project is completed on-time and on-budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop cost estimates based on construction drawings, specifications, and other documents
Analyze subcontractor and material bids
Monitor project costs and develop action plans to address any issues
Manage various aspects of construction projects including scheduling, subcontractor activities, and safety
Develop and maintain project budgets
Ensure compliance with all regulations, codes, and safety standards
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all project team members
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in construction project management
Experience preparing estimates and budgets for construction projects
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Working knowledge of MS Office suite, scheduling software, and cost estimation software
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
