Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Southlake, TX
Requirement: 5 Years Construction Safety + 4 Years Safety/Health Program Management
Outstanding opportunity to join an industry leader in Structural Steel Racking where you have the ability to grow your career path. This role requires travel up to 90%, must have OSHA 500, 510, 511 experience.
Train employees in safety procedures according to the construction safety management plan
Train & Certify employees as equipment operators
Develop and ensure safe equipment operating techniques
Plan, lead, and participate in job site safety meetings
Follow up with subcontractor representatives ensuring proper disciplinary procedures
Implement, inspect, and maintain job site and office manuals.
Conduct periodic safety inspections on all job sites
Record and compile data, update logs, monitor equipment, and schedule maintenance
Update/maintain the contingency and recovery plan
Perform safety Investigation of accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Interface with workers' compensation claims
Communicate with injured workers and plan return to work strategies
Bachelors Degree preferred
5+ years Construction Safety
4+ years Safety & Health Program Management
Certified OSHA 500, 510, 511
Experience working with commercial or civil construction projects
Procore Certified & CPR/First Aid Certified
Proficient in MS Office
Knowledge of OSHA, local safety laws, and Regulatory Agencies in the US
Ability to travel up to 90% within the US
