We are a boutique construction company focused on Custom, Luxury, Residential Homes and remodel projects. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about construction and wants to join an established firm with significant growth potential. Given the firm's entrepreneurial culture, the roving site superintendent will play a fundamental role in helping drive our day-to-day and future success from this strategically important position. Candidates must have significant and relevant experience in high-end residential construction, including additions, alterations, and new construction.

Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial operations within the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of financial resources. This role is crucial for supporting the strategic direction of the company through financial analysis and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Conduct financial analysis to support operational decisions and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Supervise and mentor the accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies that align with business goals.
Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
