Job Title: Environmental Program Manager
Job Location: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal)
Salary: $120K-$140K
Requirements: 10+ years of experience / Government Secret Clearance (or held one in the past 2 years)
We are a U.S. Government Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance contractor supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer for facilities engineering & sustainment and environmental planning & compliance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee the DCSENG SETA team to ensure they collaborate and operate efficiently to achieve the aims and objectives of the company.
- Coordinate and provide continuous support with the Environmental Division Chief and DCSENG SETA staff by working on-site four to five days a week.
- Maintain the Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) and conduct biweekly status reports for the Environmental Division.
- Plan, Organize, and Support DCSENG's Tri-Annual Updates.
- Keep the Environmental Division chief informed on a weekly basis about all projects and actions within the division.
- Ensure prompt responses by organizing, preparing, and reviewing responses for official taskers.
- Keep abreast of evolving environmental rules (such as ACS, NEPA, and AR 200-1) and inform DCSENG Environmental staff of any new or updated needs.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or similar
- 10 years of relevant Project/Program Management experience (cost, schedule, and performance) supporting customer(s), preferably within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) community.
- Experience managing subcontractors and providing timely and accurate contract deliverables (e.g. monthly status reports, trip reports, slide presentations, project updates, integrated master schedules, etc.).
