Electrical Engineer III
Location: Cleveland, Maumee OH- Hybrid
Salary: $105k-135k first year base + Benefits

Position Overview
We are a quickly growing full service engineering firm with headquarters in the heart of Cleveland with a long list of clients and trades partners. We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our electrical engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating electrical systems and components, primarily focused on power and electrical distribution. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality designs that meet industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for power distribution projects.
- Conduct electrical load studies and perform necessary calculations to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed electrical design documentation including one-line drawings, schematics, and area classification layouts.
- Coordinate with utility companies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify drawings and layouts.
- Evaluate and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and UPS systems for various projects.
- Perform site assessments and assist with the troubleshooting of electrical issues during construction and operation phases.
- Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in electrical design and power or electrical distribution distribution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with control systems design and utility coordination is a plus.
- EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
