Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and reporting processes of the organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires strategic planning and effective management of tax-related risks to optimize the company's tax position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Oversee and review the work of tax staff, providing guidance and mentorship to develop their skills.
Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws to ensure the company's compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives and financial goals.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and provide insights for tax planning initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a management role.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex tax issues clearly.
