As a member of the Informatics team, this position will be responsible to define, document, and implement the processes and procedures required to meet current and future, near time, and real time information needs related to identity management company-wide. This will include the selection and deployment of new identity-related computing resources, based on technical requirements identified in collaboration with business stakeholders and (where appropriate) vendors, as well as the foundational disciplines of supporting Identity, Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management as it related to the provisioning and deprovisioning of resources within the organization.
With the goal of creating a best practices services environment, this role will provide hands-on leadership to the Support and Field Operations Teams to ensure these foundational practices are implemented consistently within the team. By applying strong knowledge of zero-trust and IAM solutions, the role will task the conceptualization of common access and secure architecture for applications, licensing, group and role permissionings, as well as overseeing the daily maintenance and implementations of automated tasks where applicable. Reporting to the Vice President of Infrastructure, this individual will be responsible to help create an ownership culture that can demonstrate continuous improvement against the key performance indicators for the IT Organization.

What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and provide day-to-day, front line leadership to the Systems Support Services and Field Operations delivery staff, identifying and resolving issues they may struggle to resolve on their own
- Constructing and delivering educational materials to expand the number and variety of identity-related issues the Help Desk is empowered to solve without additional support
- Collaborate with vendors and others within IT to identify appropriate technologies which may improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our identity management program
- Participate in the execution (and progressive evolution) of the Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management Processes
- Collaborate with HR and others on the evolution of standards, data, and automation techniques to better speed and streamline the end-user provisioning and deprovisioning processes
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities related to digital identity management within the organization
- Mentor and grow the capabilities of other resources participating it the onboarding and offboarding of personnel
What You Need for this Position
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering or related
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with identity provisioning tools.
- Strong expertise with identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM, OpenID, and LDAP
- Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication tools and techniques
- Experience with IAM, PAM, RBAC, Governance, lifecycle management, and access provisioning solutions
- Experience automating administrative tasks through automation tools, scripts or other means
- Significant Microsoft Active Directory experience
Preferred:
- Experience with Okta Workforce Identity Cloud
- Experience with Okta Workflows
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Google Workspace Admin Portal
- Experience with API, Google SDK, Powershell Scripting
- Okta Certified Professional Cert (or higher)
