Established Litigation Firm Seeking Construction Litigation Attorney in Jacksonville, FL
A well-established Jacksonville-based litigation firm with over 40 years of experience is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing construction and commercial practice. Taylor Day Grimm & Boyd represents general contractors, subcontractors, developers, insurers, and design professionals in complex construction disputes across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to handle high-stakes cases, from pre-suit negotiation through trial, in a collaborative and trial-ready environment.
Offer:
$105,000 - $140,000 annual base salary depending on litigation experience and industry knowledge

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Florida
3+ years of experience in construction litigation or insurance defense involving construction claims
Strong understanding of Florida construction law, contract disputes, construction defect claims, and lien law
Experience managing depositions, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with clients and industry professionals
Responsibilities:
Represent construction clients in disputes involving construction defects, delays, nonpayment, contract disputes, and professional negligence
Handle litigation from initial investigation and pleadings through mediation, arbitration, or trial
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Work closely with experts in construction, engineering, and insurance to develop case strategy
Participate in client meetings, pre-litigation counseling, and risk management advisement
Maintain timely and professional communication with clients, co-counsel, and insurers
