Land Development Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Project Manager to oversee and manage land development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial land development, as well as a strong understanding of Homeowners Associations (HOA) and horizontal development processes. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage land development projects from planning through implementation and completion.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for land development projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land development.
- Prepare and present project proposals and updates to stakeholders and clients.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and external agencies, including HOAs and government entities.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed developments.
- Implement best practices for project management and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development project management.
- Proven experience with residential and commercial land development projects.
- Strong knowledge of HOA regulations and horizontal development processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
