We are a non-profit organization that was created to offer insurance products for residential and commercial property applicants that are unable to procure insurance through the voluntary market. We are growing and in need of a claims litigation rep that can review, investigate, evaluate liability and negotiate settlement of first and third party personal and commercial property claims. We need someone with experience handling complex claims for first & third party losses, primarily for attorney represented files. If you are a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, with excellent communication skills we want to talk to you!
- Review, investigate, research, and negotiate settlement of first and third party personal and commercial insurance claims.
- Effectively communicate with insured, producers, attorneys, and all other involved parties regarding claims handling.
- Maintain updated litigated claim files, document support actions, and maintain adequate reserves.
- Maintain current knowledge of policy contacts, court decisions, and industry trends.
- Handle claims in compliance with statutes regulation, and case laws while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- 5 or more years of experience in claims litigation primarily attorney represented files.
- Highly experience in complex claims for first party losses.
- Active LA Adjusters License.
- Advanced knowledge of insurance and claims laws and guidelines in the state of Louisiana.
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, verbal and written communication skills.
- Competitive salary up to $110,000!
