Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and improving manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and the ability to utilize engineering software to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication.
  • Utilize SolidWorks and Radan for designing and modifying manufacturing components and systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Analyze client drawings and determine best method for manufacturing each component.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency in production processes.
  • Conduct process improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Perform statistical analysis to monitor manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Radan.
  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and production planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
