Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and improving manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and the ability to utilize engineering software to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication.
Utilize SolidWorks and Radan for designing and modifying manufacturing components and systems.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Implement quality control measures to ensure product specifications are met.
Analyze client drawings and determine best method for manufacturing each component.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency in production processes.
Conduct process improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and identifying areas for enhancement.
Perform statistical analysis to monitor manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Radan.
Experience in sheet metal manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and production planning.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
