Medical Malpractice Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients who have suffered due to medical negligence, providing expert legal support throughout the litigation process, and working towards achieving favorable settlements or verdicts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial
  • Conduct thorough case assessments and legal research to build strong cases
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with opposing parties and insurance companies
  • Manage all aspects of case management, including deadlines, schedules, and documentation
  • Coordinate with medical experts and witnesses to gather evidence and insights
  • Present cases in court and advocate for clients during trial proceedings
  • Stay updated on laws and regulations related to medical malpractice and healthcare compliance
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical malpractice law
  • Strong litigation and trial preparation skills
  • Excellent negotiation and client representation abilities
  • Proficient in legal writing and case management
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations
  • Experience coordinating expert witnesses and managing complex cases
  • Strong courtroom experience and ability to articulate legal arguments effectively
