Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead our commercial ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within budget and on schedule, while ensuring the highest quality standards and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial ground-up construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project design and specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Facilitate team collaboration and communication to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in commercial ground-up projects.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and schedules effectively.
- Strong understanding of design-build processes and mixed-use projects.
- Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of K-12, healthcare, and laboratory construction projects.
