Preventative Maintenance Assistance Manager- $62,000 - $78,000/ year

Position Overview:
The Preventative Maintenance Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of machinery and equipment and organizing and coordinating preventative maintenance programs. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and serviced as needed and will also be responsible for maintaining the spare parts inventory and tool crib.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance and repair programs for production machines and equipment
- Maintain the spare parts inventory and tool crib
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in the machinery and equipment
- Manage the maintenance of manufacturing machinery
- Monitor and implement Kaizen initiatives
- Manage the machine shop, production, stocking, safety, quality, cost, and materials Perform data analysis and create accurate reports Utilize micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, gauge blocks, thread gauges, CMMS, dial indicators, PLCs, machining, CNC, robots, robotics, automotive, and welding
Qualifications:
- High School Degree
- Proven experience as a Preventative Maintenance or Manufacturing Engineer (5+ years)
- Experience with inventories or working in a tool crib
- Familiarity with Kaizen and related initiatives
- Excellent knowledge of machines and equipment
