The Commercial Project Manager with ground up experience is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, including many different industrity type builds. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of construction projects from initial estimates to successful completion. The Project Manager must have strong communication and project management skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and the related civil engineering principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
-Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, inspections, subcontractor coordination, client communications, and more.
-Perform commercial estimating of construction projects.
-Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
-Review and approve subcontractor invoices.
-Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple projects.
-Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
-Ensure safety regulations are followed on all projects.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
-5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
-Experience managing ground up builds
-Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
-Strong communication and project management skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
-Computer skills, including MS Office and estimating software.
