Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our team and lead our tax department in matters related to complex tax documentation and reporting. This position will involve collaborating with senior management to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely tax advice and guidance to clients.
- Assist with the preparation of complex tax returns, including personal, corporate, partnership, and estate returns.
- Manage tax audits, identify potential tax liabilities, and develop strategies to minimize clients tax obligations.
- Research tax issues and keep up to date on relevant tax legislation.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of client data and tax filings.
- Provide timely and accurate advice on tax compliance and planning opportunities.
- Assist with tax provision preparation and disclosure of income and provision for income taxes.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure all necessary information is collected to complete tax filing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA license required.
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience.
- Advanced knowledge of US Tax laws.
- In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficient in tax preparation software.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
