Position Overview
We are a nation wide financial services company that is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant who will oversee the financial reporting and compliance processes within the organization. This role is essential for ensuring accuracy in financial records and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Own month-end close processes
Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Handle journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and monthly financial statement preparation
Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Utilize financial software such as NetSuite and Workday for reporting and analysis.
Develop and implement accounting policies to enhance financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Workday.
Experience with general ledger management and month-end close processes.
