Application Engineer (Optical Alignment & Test)

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Application Engineer specializing in Optical Alignment and Testing. This role will focus on ensuring the precision and performance of optical systems through effective testing and alignment strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality optical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct optical testing and alignment for various optical systems
Utilize Matlab for data analysis and model development
Perform metrology measurements to ensure system specifications are met
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize optical performance
Document and report testing results and alignments to stakeholders
Provide technical support and insights during product development phases

Qualifications

Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Proven experience in optical testing and alignment
Proficiency in using Matlab for data analysis
Strong understanding of metrology practices and techniques
Familiarity with Zemax and SolidWorks is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
