Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Clarksville, IN
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
We are an infectious disease laboratory delivering testing results to healthcare providers nationwide. For more than 20 years, the company has enabled accurate clinical decisions through its molecular testing platform, advancement in pathogen detection and identification, and leadership in antimicrobial stewardship.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for migrating assays and processes from bench- top to automated liquid handling systems and integrated platforms.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design the development of new, automated, and efficient lab processes
- Gather and Define requirements and specifications for internal clients
- Work with vendors to design and configure systems
- Manage multiple systems in core lab environments and assess for improvements
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex automation problems
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline
- 2+ years of professional relevant professional experience
