Building Controls Sales Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Controls Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of building automation systems, developing strong relationships with clients, and providing expert guidance on control solutions to optimize building efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the building automation sector.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions related to building controls and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design and propose effective building control solutions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring targets are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process and post-sale implementation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales with a focus on building automation systems or controls.
  • Strong understanding of building controls technology and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing and account development is desirable.
