National Litigation Firm Seeking Remote Civil Defense Attorney
A well-established civil litigation firm with over 15 years of experience representing insurers, businesses, and professionals across the country is seeking a Civil Defense Attorney for a fully remote position. We are known for our strong trial record, innovative use of technology, and commitment to delivering efficient, client-focused legal representation. This remote role offers experienced litigators the flexibility to manage a diverse caseload while being fully integrated into a collaborative, high-performing legal team.
Offer:
$165,000 - $215,000 annual base salary depending on litigation and trial experience, with bonus eligibility

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (multi-state licensure preferred)
3+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience
Proven ability to manage files independently, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Strong written and oral advocacy skills with comfort working in a virtual environment
Experience with remote hearings, depositions, and case management systems
Well-organized, self-motivated, and tech-savvy with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Defend clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters including personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, and professional liability claims
Manage a full caseload with support from in-house litigation teams and paralegals
Conduct depositions, draft motions and discovery responses, and prepare case evaluations and reports
Attend remote court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations via video conferencing
Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and co-counsel regarding case strategy and status
Collaborate with firm leadership and contribute to a positive and responsive remote work culture
