Controls Project Manager

Position Overview
The Controls Project Manager will oversee and manage controls projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of controls engineering principles, financial management, and project management methodologies, particularly in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple controls projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Provide technical guidance and support for ALC programming and controls engineering tasks.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of work experience OR an Associate degree with equivalent related work and engineering experience. 
• 5 years experience in the construction industry. 
• Strong knowledge of ALC programming and controls engineering principles.
• Excellent financial management skills and experience managing project budgets.
• Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
