Senior Director, Consumer Goods and Professional Services

Base salary to $160K (Canadian dollars) and DOE 

Remote working opportunity and must live in Canada.


Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director, Consumer Goods and Professional Services driving exceptional Customer experiences through innovative Professional Services. 

Reporting to the VP, this role leads a team of 60 within the Customer Experience Excellence Group, bridging engineering and customers to strengthen relations, drive growth, and streamline operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, best customer delivery strategies for customer's growth, financial acumen and expertise in managing change and motivating tenure teams.

This "hands on" leadership role oversees professional services  and critical for driving revenue growth, optimizing service delivery, and best practices in creating and building a scalable high performing team.

Candidate must bring proven expertise in Professional Services, Client delivery, Team Leadership, and customer-centric solutions, along with a deep understanding of financial operations and consumer goods. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 60 with direct oversight (direct reports) of 5, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Strengthen and grow customer relationships as the first point of contact, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Drive change management introducing new ideas and procedures to streamline operations and enhance team performance
• Develop and coach team members, focusing on professional growth and positive department restructuring.
• Cross Collaboration across teams to ensure seamless client deliveries and success.
• Manage budgets, including revenue tracking, T&E, OpEx, COGS and ensuring financial targets are met
• Oversee the delivery of complex multi-project frameworks, ensuring on-time, high-quality execution
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, building trust and influencing stakeholders at all levels
• Promote company values and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a professional services leadership. (Consumer Goods preferred)
• Strong change management and team motivation skills especially with tenured teams
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
• Strong financial acumen (T&E, Capex, OpEx management)
• Ability to build and execute scalable customer-focused strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain operations, with a focus primarily within consumer goods.
• Agile business acumen and experience driving high-performance cultures
• Strong delivery focus, meeting deadlines with urgency and precision
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing direct reports.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Product expertise understanding solutions supporting the buying personas along the sales journey is essential
