Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Family Law Trial Attorney with a strong background in litigation and a passion for client advocacy. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex family law matters, including custody disputes, business valuations, and high-asset divorces. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and is eager to take ownership of their docket while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage family law cases from intake through trial
Conduct discovery, prepare witnesses, and lead courtroom proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Maintain high levels of client communication and satisfaction
Collaborate with legal staff and partners on case strategy
Participate in business development and client intake
Contribute to firm growth by managing your own docket and onboarding new clients

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
3+ years of family law litigation experience
Proven trial experience and courtroom confidence
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Highly organized, proactive, and client-focused
