Jessica Shu is a top internship candidate that was offered positions at some of the biggest, most-coveted companies in the technology field.
She actually published some of these offers publicly on their Evernote notebook. Here are some of the top Internship salaries, according to one top, poached intern:
- Quora: $8,250/month + $1,500 housing
- Pinterest: $7,500 + housing (unpaid overtime)
- Jane Street: $10,400/month
- Dropbox: $8.5k salary + $5k housing stipend or provided housing
- Google: $7,000/month + Housing stipend
- Yelp: $50/hour (post-negotiation)
- Fitbit SF: $9.3k/month
- Apple: $6,000 and $3,500 per month housing ($9,500)
- Facebook: $6,800/month (return) and housing: $1,000/month or corporate housing.
- Zynga: $8,000/month.
This is, of course, just one intern's first-hand account, so we should take it with a grain of salt. Still,
many tech folks on Quora agree and said the numbers sound pretty reasonable.
