Commercial Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in a variety of business-related disputes, providing strategic legal advice, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial law and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court or before governmental agencies in commercial litigation matters.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to business disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in commercial matters.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • 5+ years experience in commercial litigation, including breach of contract and business disputes.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate disputes, trade secrets, and intellectual property law.
  • Experience in securities litigation is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
