Location: Brockton MA

Position Overview:
We are precision sheet metal manufacturer of custom modular storage solutions and cabinets. Due to our continued growth we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet the required customer specifications and performance standards. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in design software, a background with metal fabrication is very beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design performance and reliability.
Manage and oversee metal fabrication processes to ensure high-quality output.
Prepare detailed documentation for designs and manufacturing processes.
Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases.
Participate in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.

Qualifications

2 + years Mechanical engineering, product design and development
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential.
Experience with metal fabrication and precision sheet metal manufacturing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in project management is a plus.
