Maintenance Technician

2nd or 3rd Shift ($1.25 added to hourly base)

2nd shift- 2PM-10PM

3rd Shift- 10PM-6AM

The Plastics Maintenance Technician position is a crucial role in the production in a manufacturing environment. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance of machines, equipment, and tools used in the production of plastic components and products. The technician will be expected to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance and inspections on machines, equipment, and tools used for plastic production.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any issues with machines, equipment, and tools.
Replace parts and components when necessary.
Ensure machines, equipment, and tools are in working order prior to use.
Maintain logs of all repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in plastics or related field.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Experience in- hydraulics, electrical, blue print reading, schematics, pneumatics.
Experience with motor pumps
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
