Produce Category Manager
We are seeking a Produce Specialist for a local grocery chain, to take on a key role on the Supply Chain team, as the Category Manager for Produce Procurement for a local retail grocery outfit.
In this role, you will work to oversee the procurement and management of our fresh and organic produce categories, evaluate produce grades and standards, vendor data and trends, and work to drive profitability, while ensuring consistent, high-level product quality, all the while working to foster and develop strong vendor relationships to optimize our supply chain and ensure deliverability of a quality product.
This is a KEY role, but it isn't ONLY for those that have ALREADY HELD a role at this level....this is a role that may be a fit for those with applicable produce supply chain experience, who are ready to take the next step in their careers into a Category Management position.
