Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our clients team. The role will involve a variety of field work and office tasks, such as proposal prep, schedule management, stakeout, processing surveys, ensuring safety protocols, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys to locate monuments and markers, topographic features, and property lines.
Create survey drawings and maps using computer-aided design software.
Prepare survey reports, legal descriptions, and land survey plats.
Supervise junior survey staff and oversee survey projects.
Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries.
Establish and maintain survey control networks using GPS and conventional surveying methods.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Maryland.
Associates degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other surveying software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
