Job Title: Senior Civil Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater
Job Location: Phoenix or Mesa, AZ area
Salary: $80K-200k+ depending on experience.
Requirements: Required - BS in Civil Engineering, AZ Professional Engineer's license or ability to quickly obtain AZ professional engineer registration. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Water/Wastewater-related design. Relevant experience shall include design of collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Engineer to manage and oversee water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering with a focus on water resources and wastewater treatment. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and delivering high-quality engineering design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to timelines and regulatory requirements.
Conduct engineering design, analysis, and feasibility studies for water and wastewater systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
Review and approve project deliverables and ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software tools for design and documentation purposes.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in water resources and wastewater treatment.
Strong understanding of hydraulics, environmental regulations, and construction management principles.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Proficient in AutoCAD and engineering design software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
