We provide general construction, design/build, construction management, and a range of other services for smooth, tailored projects and are presently seeking a superintendent to assist with our multi-family projects in the midwest region. We are small to mid-size, rapidly growing, and are looking to add to the team!
Position Overview
The Multifamily Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of senior living facilities. This role involves managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction and a passion for enhancing the living experience for seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all construction activities at senior living sites.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and training to on-site staff and ensure effective communication among team members.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for upper management review.
- Address any issues or delays proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably in multifamily or senior living projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
