Position Overview
We are a regional restaurant chain looking to hire a Staff Accountant. They will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, and supporting the finance team in various accounting processes. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial information and will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
Handle accounts payable processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience with general ledger and AP processes
Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
