Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and reporting, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, and providing strategic tax planning services for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws.
Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements related to tax matters.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide exceptional service.
Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated with the latest tax regulations.
Mentor and train junior accountants and staff in tax-related tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in tax accounting/ public accounting or financial services.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and preparation.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred, or pursuing CPA
Experience with financial statements and tax planning strategies is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
