We are searching for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. This position will involve working with PLC scripting, OEM macros, parameter settings, logic library, software engineering, R&D, CNC machine products, components, associated software, communication, time management, CAD software, electromechanical systems, customer service, and analytical and critical thinking. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively manage their time.
Position Overview:
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation systems that are used in our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be able to work on both existing and new processes, and will have a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement of existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation systems used in the manufacturing process
Design, develop, and test automation software
Analyze and troubleshoot system problems
Monitor and recommend improvements in automation system performance
Coordinate the installation and commissioning of automation systems
Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and engineering departments
Implement and maintain safety protocols for automation systems
Document processes and procedures for automation systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in automation engineering
Ability to program using PLC scripting, OEM macros, parameter settings, and logic library
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
Experience with software engineering, CNC machine products, components, and associated software
Knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical systems, and customer service
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent time management skills
