Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Independence, OH
Requirements: 2+ years experience supervising food manufacturing teams / Experience in food production operations
- Supervises food production teams in day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Perform operations for food production facility related to proper USDA/FDA specifications and procedures
- Assist in hot and cold prep, maintaining a clean, safe and sanitized environment
- Maintain strong rapport with all plant staff in order to guide them with strong leadership skills
- Maintain staff motivation and uphold company standards through all tasks
- Plan day and assess proposed production demands
- Conduct meetings with staff
- Interact daily with Operations and QA
- Maintain open communication with operations regarding issues, set backs, and the reasonability of expectations on a daily basis
- Comply with USDA and HACCP programs
- 2+ years experience supervising production staff
- Experience in food production manufacturing
- Able to read and interpret ingredient specifications and recipes, general business periodicals, and or governmental regulations
- Adept at working with mathematical concepts - probability, statistical inference, fundamentals of weights and measures
- Can apply concepts such as ratios, and proportions for ingredient and nutritional information
