Position Overview
The HVAC Project Manager will oversee and manage multiple HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HVAC projects from planning through execution and closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and schedules.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage Change Orders effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and change orders with clients and vendors to protect company interests.
- Ensure seamless project closeouts and documentation for all HVAC installations and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, specifically in commercial projects.
- Proven experience with VRF systems and estimating HVAC projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design, installation, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships and team dynamics.
